Educational Visits

Children are given the opportunity to visit places of interest which reflect the educational topic they are studying. Some of these visits are within walking distance of the school and some will need transport.

All coaches used by the school are equipped with seat belts and children are supervised by adults on a ratio of at least 1:8 for Years 3 to 6, 1:6 for KS1 & Foundation Stage children.

All visits are covered by an insurance arranged with Luton Borough Council.

Some visits will incur costs and parents are asked to contribute towards the entrance and travel charges.  If sufficient contributions are not received the visit may have to be cancelled. (Please see our Charges & Remissions Policy attached below).
