Putteridge continued their Spring fixtures and came up against a very tough Chantry team. Chantry started the game really quickly and dominated the early exchanges, winning lots of challenges and playing on the front foot - this led to the Putteridge team conceding 2 early goals. Putteridge really started to build their own momentum and got a goal back through Charlie S with a good striker's finish and another goal followed from Daniel O, with a very calm finish after breaking through.

Half time 2-2

The second-half started with Putteridge increasing the intensity - this resulted in a brilliant team goal which was finished off by Jack D, allowing Putteridge to take the lead for the first time in the game. However, Chantry scored another to take the score to 3-3 with 5 minutes left to play. With 2 minutes left, Putteridge scored the winning goal from another excellent goal from Daniel O. The Putteridge team’s defence throughout the game was outstanding.

Well done to the team for a brilliant team display - it was the best performance so far, against a very strong Chantry team.
