Putteridge played Beechwood Primary School on 7^th March 2019.

The game was played in very difficult conditions with persistent heavy rain and lots of wind, but both teams battled the conditions and produced really good performances.

Putteridge started the game moving the ball around with precision and dominating possession but were only creating half opportunities. Putteridge broke the deadlock with a fantastic curling effort from Callum B which put Putteridge ahead.

Half time 1-0

Putteridge started the second half brilliantly, creating lots of opportunities but the Beechwood goalkeeper made some excellent saves. Putteridge scored an excellent team goal with every player getting a touch before Mason F found the bottom corner with a clinical strike. Beechwood started to grow into the game and got a last minute goal to make the final score 2-1.

Well done to the whole team who put in an excellent performance in very difficult conditions.
