The autism spectrum team in Luton can offer advice on how to develop children's social interaction, communication and flexible thinking skills and discuss what support is available.

The group offer half-termly meetings where carers have the opportunity to speak to professionals and meet each other to share experiences. Meetings will often have a themed topic such as 'Communication' or 'Managing Transitions' and speakers are invited from other services to share the information and support available.

There is a relaxed atmosphere where everyone is welcome, even if just for a coffee and a chat.

The group have a mailing list which is used to inform members of upcoming meetings and to share information, news and events relating to autism in the local area.
